Esther married Leonard Rudnick July 18, 1948 after his discharge from the US Navy. She became involved with Auxiliary Post #62 and served as secretary for many years. Along with her husband she became involved with Hospital parties at the Brecksville Veterans Hospital, Knitting booties (sandals) for the veterans and taking time to talk to the patients. They were married for 53 years and raised one daughter, Shellie who married Martin Levine and had 2 grandaughters, Felicia & Erica who called her Bubbie. We loved her and miss her.
