Morris Yecheil Siev was named for his maternal grandfather. Moshe Yechiel Senderov, who was the first Jewish settler in Petah Tikveh. There is a street named in his honor, Rechov Senderov. His paternal grandfather was on of the first Jewish in Jerusalem. There is a Joseph Siev Street in Jerusalem named in his honor. Morris epitomized the best of both sides. He was an honor to his country, his fellow men, and the Jewish nation.
