Archie Greenberg, 1943-1945. A World War I veteran, served as JWV's National Service Chair and then took on the position of National Commander in 1943, holding the position for two terms. PNC Greenberg was also active in his community and Jewish community, holding positions in several other veterans' groups and serving as President of his synagogue.
