Les was in the U.S. Army right after Korea and he stayed active in the Reserves for many years. He was an electronic technician working in the space program at General Electric in King of Prussia PA. He was involved in the space program that sent the first monkeys into space. He then became a bio-medical tech and worked for many years on heart monitors at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. He was always taking courses to learn what was current in his field and became certified as a bio-medical technician or CBET. He was the husband of Sandra Grosswald Kramer and the father of Ellen (Frank) Torre and David Kramer and the beloved Pop Pop of Erik Anthony Torre. Rest in Peace Les.
