Harry was very active in the Jewish War Veterans. He did everything that was requested of him. However, his main concern was the hospitalized veterans. He was a permanent volunteer at the V.A. Hospital in Atlanta, GA. For 32 years, Harry was the V.A. Hospital Chairman for the Sam Neivelt Post 407 in Chicago, IL, and for 29 years with the Bicentennial Post 976 in Atlanta, GA, where he was also the JWV V.A.V.S. Chairman.
