Sol Stern of Pompano Beach, FL and Brigantine, NJ, formally of Levittown, PA, died July 1, 2007. Sol was past commander of the Jewish War Veterans Post 697 and served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a medic. Beloved husband of 63 years to Ruth (nee Davis), he was a loving father of Harriett Miller and her husband James, Michael Joseph Stern and his wife Selina; and dear brother of Esther Hoffman, Irving Stern and his wife Claire, and Lewis Stern and his wife Eileen. Grandfather of Lenny Miller and his wife Lisa, Eric Miller and his wife Nicole and Kevin Miller; great grandfather of Zachary, Matthew, and Gabriella Miller.
