Born on February 22, 1914 in Brooklyn, Jacob Storch attended Law School at St. John's University, graduating in 1936, and admitted to the bar thereafter. He married his beloved Minnie in December 1939. Jack was drafted into the Army beginning service in July 1943. He achieved the rank of PFC while serving in the 433rd Troop of the 5th Air Force. Working in the Judge Advocates Office, Jack’s talent was recognized and was selected to attend OCS. However due to an illness developed in New Guinea, he was unable to attend and was honorably discharged in February 1946. After returning home, Jack began a real estate law practice. He and his wife were the parents of two children and afterwards two grandchildren. Later, Jack worked for the VA as an adjudicator, he volunteered as Service Officer at the VA in New York and the Veterans Hospital in Queens. Jack kept this position until shortly before he passed away on May 19, 2005.
