Born 1921 in Rochester, NY. Graduated 1939 from Benjamin Franklin High, Rochester and Niagra University, Rochester. Inducted August 1942, Fort Niagra, NY. Basic training Atlantic City, NJ. Engineering and operations schooling Fort Logan, CO. Dispatcher base operations incoming and departing military aircraft, Grenier Field, NH, Gander Field, Newfoundland and Daggett AFB, CA. Statistical compilations for Base Statistics Control Office, Hamiliton Field, CA. Honorably discharged February, 1946, 460th AAF Base Unit, Fort McArthur, CA. Quality Assurance Represntative, US Department of Defense for 32 years, inspecting contracts and critcal parts for the DOD and NASA and receiving many awards and certificates. Also Registered Quality Assurance Professional Engineer, State of California. President (1985-86), DOD Ten Year Club and member, American Society of Quality Control and Engineering. Volunteer, Sepulveda Veterans Hospital, CA. Eleven year volunteer, Los Angeles Police Department, Van Nuys, CA. Survived by wife of 60 years, the former Eleanor Margolis. survived by two daughters, six grandchildren and a great-grandson.
