Neil J. Lifshitz was born on V-J Day – September 2, 1945 in The Bronx, New York. He grew up, got married, and died in The Bronx. He was married Joann Tassell for almost 29 years and was the father of Brandon Michael and Geri Suzanne. He was the proud grandfather of Yvette Mae. Neil was a longtime member of Post #3 in Bronx County, Jewish War Veterans. He served as Bronx County Commander twice. He was serving as Executive Secretary at the time of his death. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
