Walter Greenblatt was born on September 14, 1927 in New York and died April 23, 2000. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for one year as a Seaman 1st Class on the ship USS Reuben James. He received the American Theater and Victory Medals. He then entered the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School. After graduation in 1949, he moved to Dallas, Texas, to attend Southern Methodist University Law School. Walter sold insurance while he attended Law School and found it to be his true career path for forty-four years. He was a member of the Million Dollar Round Table for many years; top of the table for several years, and spoke in several countries and throughout the United States. He received his C.L.U. designation in 1959. Walter was a devoted husband to Carol Berg and their four children. After his wife died, he married Rebecca Nussbaum from San Antonio, Texas. Walter remained a loving, devoted husband, father, and grandfather and was the consummate gentleman, always.
